A Pulchella Winery classic! Our premier Tannat blend, Awakening, is always a showstopper, but this vintage is something special.  Staining the glass with a deep dark mahogany red and gorgeous legs, this wine is a nose full! Rich and robust ripe red and black berry notes fill your nose before revealing a spice rack of clove, nutmeg and allspice and finishing with savory elements of charred meats and fresh tobacco. The palate shows glorious ripe red fruits of raspberry, cherry and plums that lead into a balanced and structured mid-palate of tannins, acidity and fruit before finished long and strong with mingling notes of fruit and French oak influence.
