Our long awaited second release of Henchman is finally here!  Our 100% Tannat from Bella Collina vineyard has been in the barrel for 33 months, 18 of which was 100% brand new Reserve French oak. Definitely showcasing new world Tannat with an old-world influence: dirty, earthy and dry. Ready to be drank now, or ready to be laid down in your cellar for a decade or two! 

This beauty shows off a deep color of dark cherry and a nose that offers ripe blackberries, stewed cherries, with a healthy kiss of cigar, dried herbs, and a touch of sweet cream. The palate is met with a rush of acidity followed by cherry bitters, cranberries and ending with lingering notes of cedar, desiccated florals, dried earth and charred meat. This one was built for the cellar
